On the 3rd of March 2023 the Istituto Luigi Sturzo held a first workshop for some students of the School Ennio Quirino Visconti” of Rome.
During this workshop, coordinated by the staff of the Istituto Luigi Sturzo and titled “Antisemitic Legislation: Discrimination Yesterday And Today”, the students had the opportunity to meet and talk with Emanuele Di Porto, one of the last witnesses and survivors of the dramatic Raid of the Ghetto of Rome carried out by the Nazi on the 16th October 1943. Thank to the workshop’s activities the students had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of this dark page of the European history, and to reflect on the issue of discrimination and on the meaning of the International Day in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust.
